A ribbon tied to my bladder ended my embarrassing leaks

Using a local anaesthetic a tape is fitted under the bladder to support it like a hammock to prevent any leakage with stress incontinence.
The tape, which is like a ribbon of gauze with buttons on each end, is put into place using keyhole surgery; once in place it is anchored into the muscle using the buttons. There are no external stitches and no scarring.
