Types of Incontinence
« on: April 30, 2013, 12:06:34 PM »
I read about stress, urge and nerve damage incontinence but none of these seem to fit me. I just leak - no warning and even after going to the loo. No stress, no urges. When I had regular periods it was worse in the week before I was due on and now it happens around the time I would have had my period so obviously hormone related. It would be just nice to know that I am not on my own. I have an appt with my gynaecologist soon (July) so hopefully will get some answers then.

Funny, i have just posted on anther thread, but you probably won't see this as it is so out of date.
I have exactly the same problem; I have always been a little weaker prior to my eriod, and think I am premenopausal which is why it is starting to get a little weaker in general. It is not stress,  Definately hormones, and I would love to know if anyone has any tried and tested sound advice.
The GP said to not avoid drinking as it makes the bladder more irritated.
